Double cap rivets are often used in bagmaking.

1. When layers are too thick or sturdy (think leather) to sew through with a domestic sewing machine.
2. to secure the stitching at points of high strain
3. as a decorative element

We have assembled this set because it is difficult to predict exactly how thick the combined layers will be in the finished project.

It contains 24 rivets, all with a cap diameter of 9mm, but with 3 distinct post heights:

1. 6mm: perfect for one layer of 2 to 2.2mm leather/webbing + fabric/reinforcement or several layers of artificial leather (10 pcs)
2. 9mm: perfect for two layers of 2 to 2.2mm leather/webbing + fabric/reinforcement or several layers of artificial leather (10pcs)
3. 12mm: perfect for three layers of 2 to 2.2mm leather/webbing + fabric/reinforcement or several layers of artificial leather (4pcs)
