It’s a creative and stylish compact crossbody bag. It might be small but it’s packed with organizing storage options. Great for quick grab and go errands, or to keep all those important documents close while you’re travelling. Let your creativity run wild with all the options this pattern provides. I especially love the accordion gusset that keeps everything in the bag and allows for a wide opening main pocket. It even has an option for interior card slots. 

This class is ideal for confident beginners ready to expand their skills, as well as intermediate sewists looking to refine their bag-making techniques.

This is a 3 session class, each session is 2.5hrs

You will learn how to:

• Thread our classroom machines

• Sew an accordion gusset

• Create interior pockets/ card slots

• Work with bag hardware 

• Use continuous zipper tape

• Top Stitch neatly

• Reduce bulk in the seams

You will need:

• 0.5m of exterior fabric, like denim or canvas

• 0.75m of lining fabric, like quilting cotton 

• Coordinating thread (or contrasting thread for better visualization)

• 1.5m of fusible woven light-medium weight interfacing

• 26” of zipper tape and 3 pulls

• 2x -1 ½" swivel clasp

• 1 ½" slider

• 1 14mm magnetic snap

• 2x ½” D-ring

• 60” of 1 ½” webbing

We will provide:

• The use of all the tools necessary for a successful project.
