Learn about the importance of thread, cloth and the unique thimble, while also discussing cultural appreciation and appropriation. You'll leave with the confidence in your ability to stitch a pattern using the right posture.

You will learn:

• how to choose the right thread
• basic Sashiko stitches
• the importance of the sashiko thimble

We will provide:

• one sashiko panel
• thread and needle for stitching
• a sashiko thimble
